28th May. Praia de Barra then Costa Nova
Well, the loos at Barra were marginally better than those at Guarda but the site itself certainly wasn’t. The pictures are typical of the type of rigs here, run down would be understating the facts, some set ups seem to have taken root.
We left by car for Porto the next day hoping to find a better site and somewhere to leave the MH and car for the time we would be in the UK. We fly from Porto to Bristol on the 18th June, and the days are slipping by very quickly. We returned disappointed. Whilst Mary recovered from a tiring hot day I drove to Cost Nova, another site a couple of miles away and I was very pleased I did, for the site was far superior than the one we are at. We spent that night at Barra and then left for Costa Nova the following morning.
