Our flight to Malaga was delayed three times due to the Volcano in Iceland, this had a knock on effect as I had to keep rebooking the hotel in Malaga. Ryanair’s slot is scheduled to land at 9.30pm and the storage compound for our MH is closed at that time forcing us to collect the following day. The cost for the five minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel was 20 Euros, it cost just a little more for the flight from Bristol?
The weather was dry unlike our departure date, so removing the cover was done without me being covered in sludge.
The storage was secure if not the most tidy place, their charge was reflected in the lack of facilities (85 Euros/month)
The toilets are unique! Water from the sink washed your feet as you washed your hands as the bucket beneath was always full.
An hour after arrival we were on our way back to Cabopino camp site. We found a spot close to the entrance affording an easy exit as we only stayed a couple of days, time to shop and plan our journey home.
We couldn't resist revisiting the Marina and the adjacent beach.
The beach however was unrecognisable, hundreds of rows of lounges and shades covered the whole area.
The season must be about to start as these “junk sellers” were jockeying for the best positions to plague the unsuspected sun seekers as they arrive. For me, the post card saying “Wish you were here” has lost its appeal.
After a couple of lovely sunny days we were ready to move.
